Become the face of our brand - responsible for growing Mr Yum into more amazing restaurants, pubs, cafes, bars and entertainment venues.

Hi, we're Mr Yum 👋

Hospitality & entertainment are tough industries where margins are slim and even more challenging now through COVID. We started Mr Yum at the end of 2018 to help venues make the numbers work.

The past 12 months have seen an astronomical 27x business growth for us, now at 65 full-time staff and hundreds of millions in transactions, with over 10M global users. bitly.com/mryum-2020 

Mr Yum empowers businesses to own and understand their customers, increase spend and allow their staff to focus on meaningful interactions rather than transactional ones.

With your help, we have ambitious goals to scale the business (locally & internationally!) by building the most beautiful, powerful tools for our customers. Our B2B customers range from Australian venue groups including Australian Venue Co, Sydney Airport, stadiums all the way to boutique hotels and family-run cafes and restaurants. We launched team UK in March 2021.

Our team is made up of over 65 kind and driven humans working out of Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Los Angeles, London and The Philippines.

About the position

By joining Mr Yum's Venue Partnerships team, you are the face of our brand - you will spend time with some of the most creative and innovative hospitality businesses in the UK. You will be responsible for understanding their businesses, the challenges they face and tailoring an appropriate solution to support them.


  • Generating and closing your own outbound sales opportunities, with a focus on quality venues
  • Closing inbound leads that we receive through word of mouth and marketing channels
  • Evangelise the product and personally assist other team members in closing deals
  • Work collaboratively across teams - including Engineering, Product, Onboarding, Account Management and Marketing
  • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
  • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers and partners.

Required skills

  • B2B sales experience
  • Proven track record of leading by example with your own sales results
  • Preferably a strong understanding of the hospitality and/or entertainment industries
  • Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
  • Experience with managing deals and pipelines in sales CRM's
